Who runs this PG

I am Abdullah, and my family has run Scholar's Nest in Baghorbari since it opened. We live on the premises, so meals, water and safety are looked after in person. Students and working women from across Assam stay with us.

Common questions

Is food included in the rent?

Yes — four meals a day: breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. There is no extra food charge.

Is laundry and housekeeping extra?

No. Laundry is free and housekeeping cleans common areas every day.

What about power cuts and water?

We have 24/7 power backup and round-the-clock water supply.

Is the building safe?

The campus has CCTV cameras running full time and the owner family lives on the premises.

How much do I pay to book a bed?

A refundable-against-rent booking token of Rs 500 plus a Rs 100 PGkaro booking fee holds your bed for 48 hours. The deposit and first month rent are paid at move-in.

Can I get an attached bathroom?

Yes, some single and double rooms have attached bathrooms — ask us for current availability.

An Exceptional Home Away From Home – Highly Recommended! Finding the right PG can be an incredibly stressful process, but my stay at Scholars Nest Girls PG in Bagharbari has been absolutely fantastic. It strikes the perfect balance between professional management and a warm, homely atmosphere. The living spaces are exceptional — I stayed in a double-sharing room, spacious and well-ventilated, with ample storage. Housekeeping cleans the rooms and common areas every single day without fail, so the environment stays hygienic and pleasant to live in.
